1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using LayoffShield, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of service
LayoffShield provides career risk intelligence tools including AI-driven risk scoring, career planning, resume analysis, and an AI advisor. The service is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, or employment advice.
3. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to reverse-engineer the platform, scrape data, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
LayoffShield is provided "as is". We do not guarantee the accuracy of risk scores or predictions. Career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. Use the service as one input among many in your career decisions.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LayoffShield shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the service.
8. Changes to terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will provide at least 7 days notice for material changes.
